Work experience

After finishing law school in Leiden, the Netherlands, I started my international fragrance career in the marketing team of one of the largest fragrance houses in the world: Quest International (now part of Givaudan) in the USA.  I worked in several commercial positions for Quest and was also based in the UK and the Netherlands.  My clients were mainly the international FMCG companies as well as some private label ones. Then, I started working for Rituals Cosmetics in the Netherlands, being responsible for the total product portfolio of 175 products in home- and body care (marketing, product development, innovation, strategy etc) as well as setting up  new distribution channels. From there I moved to Spain, where I worked several years for Lucta, a Spanish fragrance house.

After more than 11 years of experience in the fragrance industry in 4 different countries and having worked with the best perfumers in the world, I started 3 years ago working as a fragrance consultant under the name of isa fragrances. Since then I have done consultancy projects for several clients: a large supermarket chain in the Netherlands as well as one of the leading FMCG companies in air care. I also work on more ‘niche’ projects.  My large international network in the fragrance industry enables me to serve my clients with any wish they have concerning fragrances, marketing, concept & product development.
